Gamakatsu Akilas rods were designed to encourage the human instinct to hunting. The blank design allows you to fully enjoy the sense of speed, accuracy and sharpness of these rods. Using high-grade carbon materials and rod components we have managed to design a rod series that offers a perfect balance between light action, performance casting, secure hook setting and safe landing of toothy fish. Equipped with Fuji Tangle-free K-guide and Fuji VSS reel seat.

70ML/ 80ML mini Crank & Softbait
These ideal micro-game fishing rods combine a sensitive tip with a medium-heavy butt section so they can cast mini crank bait but medium sized jig heads too! The toughness of the blank will help you to fight larger predators when they strike.

70MH/ 80MH/ 90MH Crank & Spinnerbait
These Crank and Spinner bait rods are very versatile, offering the angler the possibility to fish a wide variety of techniques and lures such as crankbait, minnows, spinner bait and jig heads.

80H/ 90H Deep Diver Minnow & Heavy Jig
The Akilas H series combine a strong power blank with an Ex-fast action which is ideal for fishing Deep Crank and Minnow hardbait or throwing soft baits on jigs up to 45g. In order to assure accurate and long distance casting we designed these rods with a sensitive tip on a powerful butt section. This combination works very well for trolling and also for bottom jigging with medium to heavy jig heads.

80XH/ 90XH swimbait & extra heavy jig
The Akilas XH blanks are powerful and strong. The Ex-fast tip action allows for casting bigger lures such as Swimbaits, big minnows and medium to large soft baits on a heavy jig head.
